Lent Day 14
The Fourth Beatitude is “Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for justice, for they shall be satisfied”.
There is a lot of injustice in this world, and it frustrates us. Just remember “Vengeance is Mine, says The Lord”, so those who cause injustice will have to answer on judgment day.
Not everything is going to go your way. Have patience, be fair to others. Practice the Golden Rule by treating others the way you want them to treat you. When in doubt, take your guidance from Bible passages and other religious material.

- Life is not about just me, it is about what I can do to somehow make the world a better place. I have to ask myself daily, what did I do today, make someone smile or frown? If I did the former, I am doing my job. If the latter, I have to revisit why I am here. Maybe the frown was the result of something I said for their own good, but they did not accept it. I cannot help that, because you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make the horse drink. That does not imply that I know everything, but I can only speak from my own experiences. Experience sometimes means I have found lots of ways to make mistakes, but mistakes can be the best teachers. Life is choices, I can choose to let everyone learn from their own mistakes, or share my experiences, and by doing so, hopefully help someone avoid the same mistakes.
