Lent Day 24

Once upon a time, a person was given a chance to see what hell was like.
Here is what that person saw.
Everyone had a bowl of soup in front of them.
Everyone had a long-handled spoon attached to their hand.
The handle was longer than their arm, so they could not get the spoon into their mouths.
The cries of hunger were so terrible and frustrating, that the person could not stand to watch any longer.

Then that same person was given a chance to see what Heaven was like.
Here is what that person saw.
Everyone had a bowl of soup in front of them.
Everyone had a long-handled spoon attached to their hand.
The handle was longer than their arm, so they could not get the spoon into their mouths.
There were no cries of hunger.
Everyone was happy.
They used their spoon to feed the person next to them.
