Lent Day 8
The Seventh Commandment is "Thou Shalt Not Steal", which goes along with the Tenth Commandment "Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbor's Goods".Most of us have violated this in one way or another, office supplies might be one example, and we can usually make rationalizations that this is no big deal.Just be sure to make restitution somehow, and when you do, give back more than you need to, whether it is in materials or extra efforts beyond what is expected of you.
Some people get jealous if their neighbors have more possessions. Some have earned it, some have inherited it. That's life. There is no point in being jealous. If these things are the most important things in life for you to get, then when is enough ever enough?Success is not measured by what you have, it is measured by what you were able to do with what you have.It is like a card game, some people get dealt a better hand than you. All you can do is play the cards you have, as well as you can.
