Lent Day 17
The Seventh Beatitude is “Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they will be called Children of God”.
Discourage arguments by staying calm and speaking politely.
If you cannot say something nice, do not say anything at all.
Jesus is the Prince of Peace, so to be His follower, it stands to reason that peaceful solutions are to be sought at all times.

- Life is not about just me, it is about what I can do to somehow make the world a better place. I have to ask myself daily, what did I do today, make someone smile or frown? If I did the former, I am doing my job. If the latter, I have to revisit why I am here. Maybe the frown was the result of something I said for their own good, but they did not accept it. I cannot help that, because you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make the horse drink. That does not imply that I know everything, but I can only speak from my own experiences. Experience sometimes means I have found lots of ways to make mistakes, but mistakes can be the best teachers. Life is choices, I can choose to let everyone learn from their own mistakes, or share my experiences, and by doing so, hopefully help someone avoid the same mistakes.
