Lent Day 23
Attitudes have the following impact on your life:
Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
Attitudes are more important than facts, than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures or successes, and more important than what other people say or do.
Attitudes are more important than appearances, or giftedness, or skill.
Attitudes can make or break any organization whether it is a company, a church, or a home.
The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past, we cannot change the fact that people will act a certain way because they have choices too.
We cannot change things that are inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play a tune on the one string we have, and that is our own Attitude, and only we are in charge of that, nobody else.
The world will continue to throw many challenges at us.
The successful person is the one who can maintain a positive attitude in spite of all these challenges.
Are we thankful that the glass of water is half full, or complaining that it is half empty?
The glass is the same either way, how we react to that is our choice.
