Lent Day 15

The Fifth Beatitude is “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy”.
Give people a break, it is called the benefit of the doubt.
Be quick to forgive and slow to criticize.
If you must, be constructive in your critique.
Criticize the deed, not the person.

Here are the Corporal Works of Mercy
Feed the hungry
Give drink to the thirsty
Clothe the naked
Visit the imprisoned
Shelter the homeless
Visit the sick
Bury the dead

Here are the Spiritual Works of Mercy
Admonish the sinner
Comfort the afflicted
Forgive offenses
Bear wrongs patiently
Counsel the doubtful
Instruct the ignorant
Pray for the living and the dead
